Architecture/Technology

The Deco X50 uses Wi-Fi 6 technology and delivers dual-band wireless speed up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. It supports 4 streams, 2×2/HE160, 1024-QAM, OFDMA, BSS Color, and beamforming to improve efficiency, signal quality, and device handling for compatible connections.

TP-Link Mesh allows multiple Deco units to work together as one network, while AI-Driven Mesh intelligently learns the network environment to optimize Wi-Fi behavior for your home.

Memory/Performance

The Deco X50 is designed to support high-capacity home networking, with TP-Link stating support for connections for over 150 devices. Its Wi-Fi 6 platform is intended to improve total network capacity and reduce lag in traffic-heavy environments.
